Melbourne

While known as the Cultural Capital of Australia, and the country’s “most liveable city”, Melbourne is also the gateway to splendid coastal areas and playgrounds for the country’s iconic animals.

Travel out of the city and discover wild koalas in the trees, dolphins in the surf, and fairy penguins that come to shore each night to nest.  Weave along a sun-splashed coast to view a land carved by wind and waves, where eerie rock spires known as the Twelve Apostles have separated from the mainland to form iconic landmarks.   Quaint fishing villages, lighthouses and pristine national parks dot the coastline, while locals perch atop perfect rolling waves that make for Aussie’s favourite pasttime – surfing. Taste the bounty of the sea, relish remote eco-lodges and hike to your heart’s content in this lovely corner of Victoria. Return to the city for lively performances, boutique shops, gourmet delights and a cosmopplitain feel in a city that could only be Melbourne.

“"My favourite thing was the personal touches and the way I was treated like a VIP! People all wonderful. Choice of hotel excellent and treated well there. Loved the flexibility of arrangements and knowledge someone was 'there' in case of trouble. Did/saw a lot in a short time and it was varied / interesting / fun / informative. Could have done with another day or two (my fault I didn't). Fit my criteria for an "eco-friendly" company? Yes!
