It is well worth the trek to get here. Visitors can fly into either Alice Springs or Ayers Rock airport for access the The Red Centre. There you are rewarded with the famous glow and changing colours of Uluru at sunset and sunrise, the hush of the desert landscape, and a universe of stars sparkling at night. Aboriginal culture takes on new meaning as you learn about the story places of the area’s indigenous people, as well as what they have done for thousands of years to survive.
