To meet their CAS requirements and develop as active, creative, and community-minded learner<strong>s<\/strong>, IB students take part in a wide range of <strong data-start=\"475\" data-end=\"520\">meaningful, hands-on learning experiences<\/strong> throughout the tour.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"1339\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Students engage in <strong data-start=\"562\" data-end=\"610\">creative activities with an Aboriginal guide<\/strong>, participate in <strong data-start=\"627\" data-end=\"688\">native tree planting and rainforest revegetation projects<\/strong>, and learn to <strong data-start=\"703\" data-end=\"740\">snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef<\/strong>, surrounded by vibrant marine life. Service-learning opportunities include <strong data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"868\">mangrove clean-ups that protect marine nurseries<\/strong>, monitoring the success of <strong data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"937\">Daintree Rainforest restoration sites<\/strong>, and working collaboratively to <strong data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"986\">build a raft<\/strong>, strengthening teamwork and leadership skills.
